2024
SIR held its annual Members’ Business Meeting on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, during the 2024 SIR Annual Scientific Meeting in Salt Lake City. All action items on the agenda were passed.
The 2024 Members' Business Meeting agenda included important bylaws changes that required a vote from SIR membership.
- Updates to the Nominating Committee to clarify its role and to align SIR and SIR Foundation
- Updates to SIR standing committees to better define their structures and charges
- Minor grammatical changes throughout the bylaws
SIR leadership values all member input to drive the strategic direction of the society and encourages all members to let their voices be heard. All motions and requests by members to make presentations are required to be submitted to the Executive Committee not less than 14 calendar days before the meeting. Motions made from the floor are not eligible for voting.
