Standardized reports
SIR’s standardized reports are designed to enhance healthcare efficiency and quality. Utilizing procedure-specific standardized reports ensures that valuable clinical data is communicated clearly without ambiguity.

Biopsy
A biopsy is a procedure to remove a piece of tissue or a sample of cells from your body so that it can be tested in a laboratory.
BRTO-CARTO-PARTO
BRTO/CARTO/PARTO are minimally invasive techniques used to treat gastric variceal bleeding. These terms are defined as: balloon-occluded retrograde transvenous obliteration (BRTO); coil-assisted retrograde transvenous obliteration (CARTO); plug-assisted retrograde transvenous obliteration (PARTO).
Central venous access
A device used to draw blood and give treatments, including intravenous fluids, drugs, or blood transfusions. A thin, flexible tube is inserted into a vein, usually below the collarbone. It is guided (threaded) into a large vein above the right side of the heart called the superior vena cava.

Dialysis

Lymphatic
Lymphatic interventional radiology is a minimally invasive procedure that uses imaging and embolic agents to treat lymphatic disorders.

Pain Management
Interventional radiologists can provide minimally invasive treatments to relieve pain, including epidural steroid injection, facet joint injections/denervation, percutaneous discectomy, interspinous spacer placement for spinal stenosis, spinal cord stimulation and targeted drug delivery.
Pediatric
Pediatric interventional radiologists (PIRs) are specially trained to deliver minimally invasive care to infants, children and teenagers. The treatments they deliver carry less risk, less pain and less recovery time than traditional surgery.
Peripheral Arterial
PAD happens when arteries in the legs narrow, reducing or cutting off blood flow, and is a leading cause of non-trauma related amputations when not diagnosed and treated early.
