The primary goal of this course is to empower board-certified interventional radiologists with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to perform common pediatric procedures more safely, effectively, and scientifically.

Upon completion of the training, learners will be able to apply evidence-based strategies, procedural adaptations, and decision-making frameworks to ensure safe, precise, and patient-centered pediatric interventional radiology care. By achieving these outcomes, learners will contribute to higher standards of care and better health outcomes for pediatric patients in a general interventional radiology practice.

• Learners need to know about the current evidence-based techniques, safety protocols, and pediatric-specific modifications required to perform common interventional radiology procedures effectively in children.
• Learners need to know how to apply evidence-based strategies, procedural adaptations, and decision-making frameworks to ensure safe, precise, and patient-centered pediatric interventional radiology care.
• Learners need to do pediatric interventional radiology procedures safely, efficiently, and in adherence to the latest evidence-based guidelines, while confidently managing patient-specific challenges and reducing procedural risks
