SIR Stroke Course
For interventional radiologists interested or experienced in cerebral angiography, carotid revascularization, and/or endovascular stroke thrombectomy.
For interventional radiologists interested or experienced in cerebral angiography, carotid revascularization, and/or endovascular stroke thrombectomy, the 2025 SIR Stroke Course will provide participants with the latest in stroke education offering more than 8 hours of CME credit. Topics from the multidisciplinary faculty include stroke pathophysiology, the latest updates on stroke trials, emerging areas for endovascular thrombectomy, challenging interventions in refractory and tandem occlusion cases, and case presentations.
Program objectives
Upon completion of this course, an attendee should be able to:
- Discuss Ischemic Stroke Pathophysiology
- Interpret Acute Ischemic Stroke Imaging Studies
- Explain Basic and Advanced techniques for Endovascular Thrombectomy (EVT)
- Implement techniques for treatment of Tandem Carotid Occlusions
