2023 Coding Update On-Demand

This on-demand activity will provide an overview of coding and billing changes that have taken place for CY 2023, with review of frequently requested Q & A topics for 2022. The session focuses on the following specific case studies:

• Geniculate artery embolization
• Coding for incomplete or aborted procedures
• Coding for complex vessel selection
• E/M telehealth code update

This course is intended to meet the educational needs of Physicians, In training Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Physician Assistants and Radiologic Technologists with an interest or responsibilities for accurate coding and practice reimbursement.

As a result of participating in this activity, the learner should be able to:

• Understand difference between procedure performed and indication for procedure with respect to coding
• Describe vascular hierarchy and associated coding conventions
• Report E/M work accurately at the termination of the public health emergency
