This month’s journal-based CME article is titled "Percutaneous Arteriovenous Fistula Creation with the WavelinQ 4-French EndoAVF System: A Single-Center Retrospective Analysis of 30 Patients".This is a single center retrospective analysis to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the WavelinQTM 4 French system for creation of a percutaneous arteriovenous fistula (pAVF). The authors reviewed 30 consecutive patients over an approximately 2 ½ year period.

This program is designed to meet the educational needs of interventional radiologists, nurses, techs, and trainees at all levels with special interest in management of patients with end stage renal disease. To receive CME credit for this journal-based CME activity, participants must read the journal article and score 75% or better on the post test. Participants will have three opportunities to score 75% or better.

Learning Objectives
After participating in this journal-based CME activity, learners should be able to:

• Discuss the anatomic locations for creation of a pAVF with the WavelinQ system
• Understand the expected complication rate
• Know the expected successful cannulation rate following creation
